Oh, there's no place like home for the holidays

  1. Any place I would/could call home doesn't exist any longer. The towns are still there, but when I've pass through recently, I don't recognize them. When I was younger, we lived in four different east Texas towns, and then I went away to the Navy and my parents moved to Florida, I went off to college and lived in yet another Texas town. Got married and we moved to the east coast, and now reside in my second eastern city. Home is where I happen to be this year. I remember from my east Texas days, people use to ask, "Where you stays at?" rather than where you lived. Seem fitting, home is where I stays at.
